"Work is work, why are you calling me? Don't you know I'm just a hands-off boss?" Xiao Tianyu replied helplessly. This woman is definitely trying to get back at me; doesn't she fear I'll fire her?
"Alright, you keep sleeping. I'm leaving now. Don't forget six o'clock tonight!" Gu Yunxi gave a faint smile, then left the villa and headed directly to the private parking lot.

"Morning, Director!" A demure girl greeted Gu Yunxi. "My name is Xiaoli, I'll be your secretary from now on!"
"Oh!" Gu Yunxi nodded.
Xiaoli continued, "Director, should I take you to your office?"
"Alright!" Gu Yunxi smiled faintly. On her first day at work, she really didn't know where her office was. Led by Xiaoli, she soon arrived at her office door, entered the password, and was astounded by the lavish office decor.
To be honest, the Administrative Director's office was even more opulent than her previous CEO's office, and the two weren't even on the same level.
"Director, what would you like to drink?"
"Coffee, please!" Gu Yunxi responded.
"Alright!" Xiaoli exited the office but soon returned with a cup of coffee, placing it on Gu Yunxi's desk. "Director, anything else you need?"
"Bring me all the financial statements from the past year!" Gu Yunxi requested. Now that she sat in the Administrative Director's seat at Celestial Universe International, she couldn't let Xiao Tianyu down. To excel, she needed to understand all the financial operations of Celestial Universe International.
After Xiaoli left the office, Gu Yunxi opened the computer, entered a pre-prepared password, and started reviewing various financial records. Yet, with each query, Gu Yunxi was completely bewildered.

Ten minutes later, Gu Yunxi arrived at the meeting room. Just as she entered, everyone from the general manager to the various executives got up, "Good morning, Director!"
"Have a seat, everyone!" Gu Yunxi said, and everyone sat down. Sweeping her gaze across the room, Gu Yunxi spoke, "How are the preparations for the financial conference coming along?"
"Everything is ready. The Director can attend the financial conference directly tomorrow!" the general manager said.
"Good!" Gu Yunxi nodded and continued, "Regarding Celestial Universe International, which companies are we currently collaborating with in Fengzhou City, and does any of them include Murong Group?"
"Yes!" A young man from the administrative department spoke up, "Several real estate authorizations under Murong Group originate from Celestial Universe International, and all major product distributors are appointed by Celestial Universe International!"
"Sever these ties immediately!" Gu Yunxi's voice was firm.
"But…"
"Do as I say!" Gu Yunxi insisted.

"Now is not the time for that!" Murong Yunlong shouted, "Is the finance manager here?"
"Calculate how much we've lost in total!"
"Approximately over fifty billion, but that's just the current data; I fear stocks may continue to fall!" the finance manager reported.
"Got it, is there any way to mitigate this?" Murong Yunlong asked.
"Retracting funds might reduce losses a little!"
"Then retract them!" Murong Yunlong ordered, "Find out why Celestial Universe International cut ties with Murong Group. I need to know the reason. Information Manager, this task is for you!"
"Understood!" the Information Manager nodded.
Just as he finished speaking, there was an urgent knock on the door.
"Come in!" Murong Yunlong responded. As soon as he finished speaking, the door opened, and a young man holding a document entered the office, saying, "There's another piece of negative news about Murong Group!"
