Yugioh Card Summoner Chapter 278

Well, another day, so let’s do something. I do have someone that I won’t mention, who may or may not be grilling me about me being a Spiritual Human, because I forgot to swap back to Dragon Hearted before I had dinner with Mariina. The spirit friend in her staff noticed it, and now … well, you can imagine what happened.

But at least she will be busy all morning, so I can escape for a bit. And I do have something I can do at HomeBase. Well, a few things actually.

One, I was going to manufacture the carriage I designed over our two day trip from Sawyer city to this town, and two, I have some fusions to summon. I let them pile up again, so it is time for fusion summoning fest volume 2.

Agunan came with me to HomeBase, largely because he was bored and wanted to fight some monsters in the dungeon. I’m not that bothered by it, because while it does decrease the defensive capabilities of the dungeon, I get some high ranking monster materials for it, which I can then use to make stuff. Or have my monsters make stuff from, but still.

I was just going to use one of the lowest… or is it highest in this case, considering that the dungeon goes down into the ground? Well, anyway. I was on floor 2, because the plant monsters there made for a nice atmosphere. Also, I wasn’t going to activate Fusion Gate like I did last time, just because I don’t have nearly the same number of monsters to summon and I have a lot more copies of Polymerization in toploaders. And even if I didn’t, I don’t mind using a few one-time-use cards for this.

But let’s just get started straight away, so we get this done today.

“I activate Polymerization. I fuse together Elemental HERO Sparkman and Elemental HERO Clayman to fusion summon Elemental HERO Thunder Giant.”

Thunder Giant was first. He is the only other fusion from The Lost Millennium I haven’t summoned yet. But that set does have two other monsters I need to summon, so they’ll be next.

“I activate Doriado's Blessing. I tribute Lady of Faith to ritual summon Elemental Mistress Doriado.” Yes. The Lost Millennium does in fact have two ritual monsters, so I don’t want to forget those.

“Final Ritual of the Ancients. I tribute Invader of Darkness to ritual summon Reshef the Dark Being.”

I usually dislike fiend-monsters, just because their visuals are … a bit terrifying, but with Reshef looking a lot more like some god machine thing, it might actually be a fiend I can use without people getting on my case. And its effect to take control of an opposing being, it could honestly become handy.

Anyway, with the two rituals summoned, I’d arrived at a total of 15 unique rituals summoned for the summoning challenge, so I could claim my reward.

Because I got a fish monster like that, after I unsummoned the fusion and the two rituals, I used the dungeon terminal to teleport to floor 43. For reminder, that is the first ocean floor of the dungeon, the one we sailed across on Skull Mariner.

There, I went ahead and summoned Fortress Whale. He was quite the big fish, even if he wasn’t nearly as large as Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness.

For my next reward for the challenge, well, it is another mediocre ritual.

Alright, back to the fusions. Cybernetic Revolution fusions coming up next.

I began by resummoning Cyber End Dragon, with Power Bond of course. And I used Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment to negate the Power Bond damage.

Because Cyber End got destroyed by Limiter Removal, and I didn’t summon it back with Monster Reborn or anything like that, Cyber End was just left to suffer its death cooldown. And because of that, the color of its sleeve was lost and it couldn’t appear in the factory, so I had to resummon it, so it can. Also, Laura figured something interesting about Power Bond. If I fusion summon a monster with Power Bond, it will have double attack, right. But if I then unsummon it, and summon it again, without fusion because of the colored sleeve thing, it won’t have double attack. Just like what would happen in a game of Yugioh, if you summon Cyber End with Power Bond, it gets destroyed and goes to the GY, and you summon it back with Monster Reborn or any other GY resurrection card.

But, and this is the interesting part, if I install Power Bond on a fusion monster which was summoned with Power Bond, it will forever have double attack, even if I summon it without fusion summoning it. So I can have an End Dragon that I can just summon out with 8000 attack, and it won’t even cause the Power Bond damage on me, outside the first time I summon the monster.

So yeah. In short, I can just summon out a Cyber End Dragon with 8000 attack with ease.

Next I summoned Cyber Twin Dragon, with just regular Poly. As well as Steam Gyroid and UFOroid Fighter.

I used Gate Guardian as the warrior material for UFOroid Fighter, and the results came out quite funny.

With that, I was now up to 72 on my fusion challenge, so I claimed my reward. Next Reward: Amazoness Empress and Amazoness Queen. Then I of course went ahead and summoned the Empress.

I’ll use some Different Dimension Capsules to get extra copies of both of the new Amazoness monsters, and I’ll give them to Christina later.

Also, my next reward is… actually, I’ll get it in no time, so I’ll tell you then.

Elemental Energy fusions, you are next. For that, let’s move floors again. I don’t think we need to be in this ocean any longer. I mean, just look at Steam Gyroid. It drowned because Fortress Whale didn’t want it on its back, and it cannot fly.

“Alright. I guess I’ll summon this guy next. XYZ-Dragon Cannon.”

That wasn’t a fusion summon or anything. Just me summoning this guy out, because I need him.

“Now, V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult.” I said to summon the next two.

“Combine and become one. VW-Tiger Catapult.”

“And now, let’s cap off the alphabet. XYZ-Dragon Cannon, VW-Tiger Catapult. Combine together and become the VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon.”

Dragon Catapult Cannon was a big machine, easily rivaling Ancient Gear Golem in size. No, Dragon Catapult Cannon is actually larger. Gear Golem was only right around 15 meters tall, but Dragon Catapult Cannon is basically 20. And with the wings, it looks even larger than that.

And with those two fusions summoned, I was now at 75 unique fusion summons, so I can claim my reward.

Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword and The Claw of Hermos.

I have to say, I did not expect that. Maybe I should have, considering that the Legendary Knight fusions are… well fusions. But yeah. I got a dragon slaying sword. I wonder how much Agunan won’t like it. But does that really matter? I want to use it. I might have to replace my mithril sword with this. Then if I use this with Millenium Shield, I’ll have both a flying sword and a floating shield.

I quickly summoned my new sword, using The Claw of Hermos on a Red-Eyes Black Dragon. The sword was quite a bit larger than what I’m used to, so it will definitely take some getting used to, but I do want to try. Like come on, it is a dragon slaying sword. Of course I want to wield it.

Next, I quickly summoned the rest of the Elemental Energy fusions. Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman, Elemental HERO Wildedge, Elemental HERO Tempest, Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster and Cyber Blader.

I really like them all, and I’ll likely call on them in the future when I need some firepower. And they are relatively humanoid, so using them shouldn’t cause a problem.

That of course threw me over 80 summons, so another reward. This time, it was useless garbage, but at least there were two fusion monsters.

I got Temple of Skulls, Skullbird, Rhaimundos of the Red Sword and Vermillion Sparrow. I guess getting four cards is nice, but I’d have preferred just a bit better fusion monsters.

Of course I went ahead and summoned the two fusion monsters.

Now, Shadow of Infinity has only one fusion monster, so let’s just summon it.

The set does also come with two ritual monster, but since I haven’t gotten them yet, and I haven’t given Laura the permission to full complete the set for me, I don’t have Ruin or Demise yet, so I’ll have to summon them later. So all that is left are the Enemy of Justice fusions I got yesterday. And with some divine luck, I got all of them, but one.

“Elemental HERO Wild Wingman, Elemental HERO Necroid Shaman, Elemental HERO Mariner and Elemental HERO Phoenix Enforcer.” I summoned the four monsters.

Again, some of them are good, and I’ll likely call on them again. But they also pushed me to 88 unique fusions, so next reward is here.

This time, I got even more trash, but a lot of it.

I got Bracchio-raidus, Amphibious Bugroth and Sentinel of the Seas, Kaiser Dragon and Fairy Dragon and last Soul Hunter and Invader from Another Dimension

I of course summoned all four of the fusions straight away, boosting me to 92 fusions summoned. That rewarded me with Aqua Dragon, Amazon of the Seas and Zone Eater. Pragtical, Trakodon and Flame Viper. As well as Great Mammoth of Goldfine.

And after I summoned the three new fusions, I was at 95 and my next reward. And finally, we had something amazing. Well, Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword was amazing to get, but it ain’t got nothing on these beasts.

Ultimate Great Insect, Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem and Dragon Master Knight.

What a line-up of monsters. Well, the Insect is… a bit questionable, but I’ll take it. Also, the freaking Ojamegazord which wasn’t even called Ojamegazord for some reason. They really should have. Would have been more funny. I don’t have any jokes about the other two though. They are just great. I guess if I want to punch Mariina’s golem even harder, Ultimate Golem will do that fine. And sure, Dragon Master Knight is just BLS riding Ultimate Dragon, but that is cool in itself. And it does kind of complete my arsenal of Blue-Eyes fusions, so I'm glad to have it.

I went ahead and summoned my new monsters, leaving me at 99 fusions summoned. Almost like the world is taunting me, being all ‘Ha-Ha! You cannot reach 100!’.

And my next reward would have been amazing as well.

Well, all I need is one more fusion monster and I can get it. And I can still get Shining Phoenix Enforcer from Enemy of Justice, so it isn’t that big of a deal. Too bad the challenge will end, so I won’t be getting any more free fusions from it, but still, this has been 100% worth it.
