Most importantly, Clorinde wasn't from the New Eridu metropolitan area. Even if she competed on behalf of the Sons of Calydon, no one would question it.
At worst, she could just temporarily join them.
When Sam Li suggested Clorinde, Caesar immediately turned to her.
"Can you ride a motorcycle?"
Clorinde shook her head. "No, but it doesn't seem hard. Teach me."
No matter how they looked at it, she didn't seem all that reliable.
Furina, standing to the side, spoke confidently. "What's so hard about motorcycles? Clorinde will pick it up in no time. Today was her first time seeing a car, and she learned how to drive just by listening to that robber explain it once. Right, Clorinde?"
Clorinde nodded. "Please teach me."
She was genuinely interested in both the so-called Tour de Inferno and motorcycles. If possible, she'd love to take one back to Fontaine.
Seeing her confidence—and with Sam Li backing her—Caesar hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Alright. Time's tight, but one night should be enough to teach you the basics. Just stick close to me and Billy during the race."
That night, Caesar personally taught Clorinde how to ride.
She was attentive and learned incredibly fast, surprising Caesar.

Still, riding a motorcycle wasn't enough to join the Tour de Inferno.
You also needed solid riding techniques—like drifting and cornering. These required time and practice.
With limited time, Caesar tried to cram in as many techniques as possible.
He demonstrated, "Just . Give it a try. If you want to corner at top speed, use your body to balance. Lean the bike as low as you can—your knee should almost scrape the ground..."
This kind of technique was dangerous—hellishly difficult for a beginner.
Caesar hadn't planned to teach her this, but seeing her unwavering confidence, he decided to trust her.
After demonstrating, he parked the bike in front of her, then explained everything—how to lean, balance, and control speed.
Clorinde paused, then nodded. "Got it."
None of them believed she could learn something that advanced just from one explanation and demo.
But what happened next left everyone speechless.
Clorinde rode for only a short while, yet her control improved rapidly. She didn't look like a first-timer at all.
She guided the motorcycle onto the town's streets, gradually accelerated, and when she reached a turn, she mimicked Caesar's form—lowering the bike, balancing with her body, and taking the corner at high speed.
She nailed it on her first try.
Caesar stared for a moment, then laughed. "She actually got it."
Piper was stunned. "This really her first time? Is she just pretending to be a newbie to mess with us?"
To teach her even more techniques, Caesar and Clorinde stayed at the plaza until midnight, with Caesar sharing everything she knew.
Though she still struggled with some finer points, Clorinde had fully grasped the principles and the correct movements—and she could execute them all.
Caesar grinned. "Clorinde, you're a born rider."
Clorinde said nothing. "..."
To ensure Clorinde could represent the Sons of Calydon without drawing suspicion from other gangs, Caesar, Piper, Lucy, Lighter, and the others held a simple initiation ceremony for her early the next morning.
"Don't worry. If you want to leave, you can quit the Sons of Calydon anytime after the race."

Clorinde glanced at everyone, swung a leg over her bike, and rode off with Caesar and Billy toward the race's starting point in the Old Oil Well District.
