“After finishing her speech, Bai Wei didn’t even look at Qin Youxuan sideways as she turned her attention to commanding the bodyguards next to her.
“What are you all standing around for? Hurry up and carry my luggage upstairs, I’ll be staying in the room next to Jie’s.”
Qin Youxuan watched Bai Wei, who was swiftly preparing to go upstairs, and took quite a while to come back to her senses.
For the first time, she had been mistaken for a maid.

“Miss Bai, Mr. Jie didn’t mention anything about you coming back to the country today…”
“Just because Jie didn’t know does not mean he won’t agree. Anyway, I’m back now. Are you planning to send me away?”
“You wouldn’t dare!” Bai Wei stared at Yao who was indeed considering how to send her away, her face hardened with anger.
“Yao, don’t think I’m clueless about what’s going on while I’m overseas. Just because you’ve found a woman of unknown background doesn’t mean she can take my place. Don’t forget, I am the only person who can make Jie feel relaxed enough to sleep. No one can replace me in Jie’s heart!” Bai Wei said with arrogant pride, lifting her head.
Her beautiful face looked increasingly haughty.
Yao glanced at the stunned Qin Youxuan, dared not stop Bai Wei any longer, and let her go upstairs.
Only when Bai Wei disappeared around the corner of the staircase did Yao turn back to Qin Youxuan and cautiously start speaking, “Miss Qin…”
“Does she know me?” Qin Youxuan’s eyes narrowed slightly, she asked this question in a calm tone.
Her tone was light, yet full of certainty.
As she had thought, there wasn’t a single thing about her that resembled a servant, yet that woman named Bai Wei continued to humiliate her relentlessly. So it turned out she was aware of her existence from the beginning.

“If you’re not at liberty to tell me, I can ask her myself,” Qin Youxuan tried to calm herself down, lifted her head, and threw a glance at the hesitant Yao.
“Still can’t say it? Then don’t force yourself, I’ll find out on my own.” Qin Youxuan walked past Yao, preparing to go upstairs.
She had only taken a few steps when she was stopped by Yao, “Miss Qin, I don’t have the right to answer your questions for Mr. Jie. But if you really want to know the truth, it’s best to ask Mr. Jie directly.”
Qin Youxuan paused, turning her head to look at him.
Yao, however, had already withdrawn his hand and stepped aside.
“Miss Qin, Mr. Jie instructed you to rest on time. Wait for him to come back. Whatever you want to know, you will naturally get the answer.”
