That night, Qin Sijue spent the whole night in his study.

She had wanted to say just a friend, but then she thought that to leave this place she needed a solid reason.
For some reason, as soon as she uttered those three words, she couldn’t bring herself to meet his eyes, feeling like a thief with a guilty conscience.

Gu Qiangwei looked up sharply, frowning, “How does that make him a lover?”
He boldly stated, “A married woman finds herself a pretty boy, if not a lover, what is he then?”

She glared at the man before her, feeling that conversation with him was impossible! She simply stopped discussing it and, luggage in tow, turned to leave!

“Be good and finish this meal, then you can do whatever you want,” he said, seating her at the dining table.
