"Clumsy," Mo Yuhan held her hand as he looked at the prick in her ring finger, there was a drop of blood formed at the tip.
Without breaking the eye-contact, he brought her finger to his lip before licking her blood. The next moment what she knew was her finger was inside his mouth as he gently sucked and licked the cut formed by the glass. And in no time, the slight pain and discomfort in her finger started disappearing.

His gaze turned cold as he glanced at the store manager, "We'll come again. Make sure to keep searching for it." His words were vague and the manager solemnly nodded his intense gaze.
As he looked at Tang Li, his gaze softened. He opened his mouth but then closed it. Raising his hand, he gently stroked her cheek for a few seconds.
And then without speaking anything, he walked towards the exit. Ethan quickly chased after him.
Ye Jie walked towards his sister, "You Are you alright?" He was aware of her feelings towards Mo Yuhan, and it bothered him that she must be affected by what she saw.
Nobody noticed the bloodhound sniffing something, becoming restless.
Ye Lan's eyes flashed. He stroked her cheek, sucked her finger, how could she be fine after witnessing that? But she smiled weakly, "Yes," she replied with a weak smile on her face.

"Ah.." She yelped slightly when its teeth detached from her ankle yet she was able to kick the dog to a safe distance without harming the animal.
Ye Jie quickly ran towards the restless dog to control it before it could pounce on her once again.
She staggered back breaking a few antiques behind her. The unbearable pain made it difficult for her to stand properly. Her vision turned blurry
"Lili" His concerned voice resounded in her mind. Didn't he leave already?
But there was no strength left in her body to ask the question. Her eyes sealed shut as she slumped back crashing into a warm embrace.
As she looked at Mo Yuhan carrying her out of the store, Ye Lan clenched her fists. She thought he has already left. Why was he still there? Why didn't things work out the way she wanted them to?
Since she was wearing black gloves in her hand, nobody noticed that when she walked towards Mo Yuhan earlier, she had sprinkled a powdery substance on her leg.
That powder was a prohibited drug that could heighten a bloodhound's keen senses. They rarely used it in missions but she spared no effort to show the slut her rightful place. She provoked the dog only after Mo Yuhan left, giving it a nudge to move towards Tang Li.
