"Seems like I am not the only one who is feeling down."
Ye Jie stilled for a moment before turning around. Earlier, he was so lost in his thoughts that he did not sense anyone's presence nearby.
He found his heart skipping a beat when he looked at the woman standing behind him. Dressed in a simple white sleeveless gown, her short black hair swayed along with the pace of wind, the purple highlights at the tips of her hair were a contrast to her white dress.
Large doe eyes that held the innocence of a newborn fawn, yet there was a contrasting sly smirk on her lips.
As she smiled, dimples appeared on her cheeks.
"You are?" He asked as he snapped out of his daze.
Back to the hall, while Mo Yuhan was discussing something with Ethan, he did not notice a certain someone observing him from a distance.
Dressed in a sea-green-colored elegant suit, Tang Li had her long hair covered in the black cap on her head. A black mask rested on her face and with her proper disguise, it was difficult to guess her gender until someone looked at her closely.
"15 minutes are way too long for me to wait. I'd rather watch you from a distance than waiting in the room," she murmured under her breath. In the darkest corner of the hall, she was leaning on a pillar lazily.
Busy watching her man, it was too late when she sensed some movements on the other side of the huge pillar.
"Have you checked it clearly? Are you sure that they are here?" One of the men whispered.
She immediately straightened her back before pressing her body close to the pillar.
"I am sure. I just saw General Ye Jie near the deck. If I am not wrong, they all are inside this hall. Boss' information was not wrong after all. Seems like that thing is really here. The yacht banquet ends in a few days, tell the others to take their position properly"
Hearing the sound of retreating footsteps, she realized that they were walking away. Not being able to hear their conversation anymore, she tiptoed before trailing after them swiftly.
As Mo Yuhan went to his room after 15 minutes, he noticed a bulge on the king-sized bed.
The person on the bed was tightly wrapped in a thick blanket without a single part of the body being visible.
Mo Yuhan walked towards the other side of the bed before sitting near the edge, "Lili, are you cold?''
There was no response for a few seconds and that made him frown. Is she asleep already?
"I am very cold and sleepy. Don't disturb me. I need a good rest right now."
"What happened to your voice?" Mo Yuhan pursed his lips.
"Iate a lot of ice-cream. And my throat is aching all of a sudden. It pains me to speak a single wordcoughcough" Mark thanked the heavens for giving him some proficient voice changing skills.
Mo Yuhan stroked his legs gently from the top of the blanket, "I'll get some medicines for you," He said before standing up.
Mark was speechless. He never knew that Mo Yuhan's bedroom side was so gentle. What a nice husband!
But, hey hey, I am not your wife.
"I need restnothing else," Tang Li, you damned brat, where the hell are you? Don't blame me later if your husband gropes me thinking that it is you under the blanket.
Just as Mo Yuhan was about to walk towards the other side of the bed, something caught his attention. Some strands of silver hair were visible on the black silk pillow.
Mo Yuhan narrowed his eyes dangerously.
Mark let out a sigh in relief under the blanket thinking that the man already. But in the next second, the blanket was pulled off his body.
"AHH" Mark covered his eyes, feeling extremely embarrassed and very exposed for the first time in life.
What the heck!
He cursed in his heart. As if fooling Mo Yuhan was going to be easy.
Tang Li had gone to keep an eye on Mo Yuhan and she told him that she will be back before him. He was there to substitute her just in case she was late.
And the least he expected that Mo Yuhan really came back before her.
"Hey~ President Mo, how do you do?" Mark waved his hand awkwardly but he immediately put his hand down under Mo Yuhan's cold glare.
He was wearing nothing but a silk black robe and sitting on a man's bed while talking to himit was the most embarrassing moment in his life till now.
Could someone kindly dig a hole for him to jump inside?
Mo Yuhan pursed his lips.
As Tang Li stepped inside the room, she was met with this scene.
Mo Yuhan was glaring at Mark with an ice sword in his eyes while Mark cowered back under his gaze.
"Heya~" She cheerily smiled at them as she stepped into the room before removing her cap and mask.
Mark glared at her before standing up, "Excuse me," he gave her a cold look before sneaking out of the room in that bathrobe.
Mo Yuhan folded his arms across his chest as he glanced at Tang Li.
Not pretending to see him, Tang Li removed the loose suit from her body, revealing the white bodycon dress she was wearing inside.
Her movements were extremely slow as she inwardly cursed Mark for leaving her alone here.
"So?"
She cleared her throat before looking at Mo Yuhan. "What?" she softly asked.
"Where did you go?"
"To get some fresh air?" She awkwardly smiled.
Mo Yuhan walked towards her and she took a few steps back under his darkening gaze, "You are asking me?" He paused when she was standing at the edge of the bed.
He gave her a slight push and she fell back on the bed. Climbing on top of her, he nibbled her neck, "Lili, you've been so disobedient lately."
She bit her bottom lips as his lips glided towards her cleavage, "So, is it time for punishment?" she asked in a whisper.
"What do you think?" His lips tilted up at an angle she could not see.
