The three onlookers, surrounded by countless zombies, gaped in astonishment at Huang Yidan’s hysterical shouting. Hey, our lives are at the mercy of Zombie King! What kind of game is she playing? They considered her shameless but hoped she would succeed and make Tang Ye obey her so they would be spared.
Tang Ye tenderly touched Ning Yu’er’s head. On hearing Huang Yidan’s words, he felt a violent urge to kill welling up inside him, devouring his sanity.
Like a ferocious beast, Tang Ye stood toweringly, marching towards Huang Yidan, whose face lit up, thinking her wish was about to come true.
However, he had starkly witnessed Huang’s mistreatment of Ning Yu’er and sworn not to forgive her. He intended to punish her cruelly.
With each step towards her, his anger intensified until his eyes brimmed with a bloody killing intent.
He reached out, pressing his burly hand on her shoulder and began to squeeze. At first, Huang Yidan didn’t care much, but soon the pain exploded.

Huang Yidan screamed as her shoulder bone shattered under Tang Ye’s grip. At this, Tang Ye grinned, his smile menacing, his teeth gleaming coldly.

They swarmed towards the remaining two as well as the fallen corpse! Tang Ye picked up Ning Yu’er and seeing she wasn’t hurt much, he regained some sanity.
"Help, Yu’er, spare us, we have no ill intentions for you!"
"Yes, spare us... Ah! Help..."
Their voices drowned in the undead’s horde. Ning Yu’er glanced at them and then at Tang Ye, hesitated to plead for mercy. Instead, she clung to Tang Ye, burying her head in his chest, avoiding the sight of the others’ grisly fate.
Tang Ye patted her back, sheltered her in the dormitory, and instructed the zombies to clean away the dirty blood stains.
Half an hour later, the ground was spotless, showing no signs of the slaughter that had taken place. Tang Ye frowned, dismissed the undead and walked into the dorm where Ning Yu’er was.
"Little Mister...you..."
Ning Yu’er was pale and shivering. Clearly, she was still rattled by his savagery. Tang Ye shook his head and sat by her on the bed, now somewhat calm.
"Little Mister, do you want some water? I can get you some," she stammered gently.
Tang Ye shook his head. All he wanted was some solitude. Ning Yu’er sat quietly beside him, proffering her companionship.
Staring at his bloodstained hand, Tang Ye was puzzled. Did he just... eat a human?
It felt like he had broken a moral taboo, and he continued to stare blankly at the ceiling, pondering the righteousness of his actions.
"What happened to me?"
"I just ate someone. Why, just why?"
Tang Ye shook his head vehemently. Ning Yu’er turned and looked at him, her face fraught with worry.
"No, it’s not right, they were hurting her. I didn’t eat human, I ate a scum! They aren’t human! They deserved to be devoured, they don’t deserve to live. Yes! That’s it, I’m a zombie. What’s wrong with eating a human scum!"
