Huo Yanzhao obviously got it, his lips twitched as if he was holding back a laugh.
He reminded his younger brother, “What reaction by a man, do you mean?”
“Oh…” Huo Yanhui then understood, drawing out his words seriously as he asked He Jingyao, “So, how did you deal with it?”
His eyes, however, were full of teasing, occasionally sweeping over Su Zixi.
Su Zixi… Su Zixi picked up her bowl and drank the soup in big gulps, pretending she heard nothing.
He Jingyao shot him a look, “What do you think?”
Huo Yanhui then coughed, “So, how was this reaction different from usual? Duration, frequency… Was it more or less than usual?”
As serious as his tone was, his expression and gaze were anything but.
“About the same. It’s just that it comes on very rapidly, and… it’s unstoppable.” He Jingyao said lightly, his gaze falling on the woman across from him who was burying her face in her soup bowl, pretending to be non-existent, with a hint of a suggestive smile.
Huo Yanhui struggled to hold back his laughter and said to Su Zixi, “It must be tough on you, little sister-in-law.”

Su Zixi… Su Zixi waved at them with one hand, but she still didn’t have the courage to lift her head.
Huo Yanhui finally couldn’t hold back his snickers. Fortunately, he quickly caught He Jingyao’s stern look, so he hurried out of the sickroom, continuing to laugh loudly.
Huo Yanzhao’s lips twitched slightly, giving He Jingyao a slight nod, “Let me know if there’s anything unusual.”

Huo Yanzhao returned to his own office, with Huo Yanhui following along.
He was still laughing, clapping his brother on the shoulder, “Tell me, where did Jingyao find such a treasure? She’s absolutely hilarious hahaha!”
Just thinking about Su Zixi drinking her soup, Huo Yanhui couldn’t stop laughing.
Huo Yanzhao frowned, “Go back to your office.”
Huo Yanhui, still clowning around, clung to his shoulder, “Come on! Brother, you’ve really been off lately, what’s actually going on? Can’t you tell me?”
“You’re on duty tonight; I’m leaving first.” Huo Yanzhao pushed him away.
“Hey, why do I have to cover your shifts again!” Huo Yanhui was half-dead with annoyance, “I’ve already covered for you three times this week!”
But Huo Yanzhao had already taken off his white coat, put on his suit jacket, grabbed his phone, and left.
Huo Yanhui was infuriated. Really, having a partner is no big deal! Even if he’s single, he shouldn’t be treating him !

“Sir, you’re back early today.” Mrs. Wu was delighted, “Miss is up in her studio, please go up and call her down for dinner.”
