He Jingyao’s burning palm still lingered on her waist.
Recalling how she had arched her back to meet him when they were caught up in passion, he felt his mouth go dry and his body tighten in response.
Yet it wasn’t right, the little woman probably couldn’t take anymore.
He laughed helplessly and tenderly kissed her cheek.
She hummed twice, burying her head into the pillow as if afraid he would continue his advances.
He Jingyao captured her soft hand and lightly pecked it at the lips, calling softly, “Zhixi.”
She seemed to try lifting her eyelids, but alas, she failed to open her eyes.
“If you don’t open your eyes now, I’m going to leave,” he whispered into her ear.
Su Zixi didn’t know if she heard him or not, continuing to hum without the strength to open her eyes.
He Jingyao chuckled, pulled the blanket over her, made sure she was well covered, and tucked her hands under the covers to keep them from getting cold.
Thus, what presented itself before He Jingyao was a portrait of a beauty in winter slumber… Su Zixi’s dense black hair sprawled across the pillow, her fair and smooth shoulders exposed to the air, and just one more glance nearly shattered his self-control.
He Jingyao took a deep breath and had to pull the blanket up further, covering that expanse of snow-white smoothness.
After dressing, he went downstairs, and it was almost three in the afternoon.
Upon hearing him, Butler Li immediately came over and said with utmost seriousness, “Young Master, you really have quite the stamina.”
For three whole hours, even at this distance, he could faintly hear the Young Mistress’s cries…
As Butler Li worked, he couldn’t help but sigh at how great it was to be young.

He Jingyao raised an eyebrow and asked, “Where’s Yanhui?”
“After Second Young Master Huo brought the Young Mistress back, he went out. He did not disclose his whereabouts,” replied Butler Li respectfully.
He Jingyao sneered, “Could it be that he went to find Ye Shutong?”
Butler Li dared not answer, though he privately thought the same.
“If he can really win over Ye Shutong, that would be something to his credit,” He Jingyao said with a meaningful laugh, then looked at Butler Li, “Is lunch still available?”
“Of course, ready to serve you at any time,” answered Butler Li, his smile undisturbed.
He Jingyao ate only a little before he put down his chopsticks, then took some food back to Su Zixi’s room.
A certain woman, exhausted from being thoroughly spent, had fallen into a deep sleep.
He Jingyao looked at her curled-up form with amusement and brought a straw of milk to her lips, coaxing gently, “Zhixi, open your mouth.”
Her lips moved slightly but to no avail.
He Jingyao had no choice but to pinch her mouth, forcing her cherry lips to part… The sight of her plump lips puckering up slightly seemed to have a flavor of its own.
The man’s gaze darkened a bit more.
But the satiated him did have some self-control, and he slipped the straw into her mouth; Su Zixi instinctively clung to it and soon began to gulp down the milk.
He Jingyao watched her obediently suckling on the milk, his gaze deep and tender.
He knew he had taken too much from her, but it was the only way to ease his restlessness; that sense of satisfaction was too beautiful, making him lose control involuntarily.
After a while, Su Zixi spat out the straw, her cheeks and lips smeared with a bit of milk.
He Jingyao suppressed a deep intake of breath.
