“How is it?” He swirled the glass, his voice low and his tone exceedingly light.

He Jingyao’s lips curled up into a mocking smile.
“No matter, we have time,” he said, looking at the crystal clear cocktail in his glass, his voice gentle yet ice cold, “He’s the President now, his pride will inevitably lead to forgetfulness, you don’t need to make a move just yet.”
“Yeah,” Ning Yichen nodded then chuckled bitterly, “He’s a man of great suspicion, and although he trusts me for now, he never lets anything truly important pass through my hands. To grasp concrete evidence is very difficult.”
“Whether we have evidence or not isn’t important, I just want him to pay the price.” The corners of He Jingyao’s lips rose coldly.
As the sole beneficiary of that explosion, Zhuo Yuwei could not possibly have remained uninvolved. For him, knowing this much was enough.

He Jingyao laughed, took a sip of the cocktail, seemingly savoring it for a while before speaking softly, “It’s right for him to be annoyed. I want him to know that with me here, he can never sit comfortably in that position.”
Ning Yichen and Yun Shenhan exchanged glances, a look of helplessness in their eyes.
