“Mom, don’t get angry. You’ve just been discharged from the hospital, and the doctor has told you to avoid any emotional agitation. How could you forget?” Rong Weiwei said, trying to calm her down.
Rong Yan looked at the deep mother-daughter bond before her, realizing that Weiwei’s mention of the hospital was intended for her ears. She pursed her lips, her eyes reflecting a numbness born of habit, “I am dating Li Shengxiao, so what, Mrs. Rong came all the way here just to ask me about that?”
It couldn’t be that simple, could it?
Jiang Meiqi immediately looked at her with intense gaze and said, “Is that what you call dating? Do you think that just because he says you’re his girlfriend in public, that makes you his girlfriend? How did you two start dating?
