Could it be that she really wants to make him her servant today?
Sophie Smith tossed the furry little thing directly onto his lap.
"Don’t you dare throw it away." She smirked triumphantly, "That’s an order."
Asher Land, as if not hearing her, swiftly threw it onto the ground again.
"Filthy and smelly." He looked disdainfully at the "poor thing" on the ground, brushing off the mud and grass clinging to his expensive suit.
Sophie wasn’t upset at all. To ask such a cleanliness-obsessed man to hold a dirty little animal surely required courage. This man wasn’t that compassionate.
She picked up the little thing again and placed it in his hand.
"Sophie, you!" He was almost about to burst with anger.
"I’ve made up my mind to adopt this puppy."
Fine, he’ll endure it!
He must be crazy today, to actually listen to her and let her boss him around!
Seeing that Asher Land didn’t intend to throw the dog onto the ground anymore, she finally walked into the villa with satisfaction.
Asher Land looked at the little creature in his hand, whose eyes were almost invisible, yet it still tried hard to look up at him. He couldn’t help but wish he could strangle it.
The cold winter had passed, and occasionally, the bright sunshine of spring was upon them.

"By the way, could you please call Asher Land over?" she asked the maid very politely.
Asher Land dawdled his way to her side, and when he saw the scene in front of him, he was momentarily stunned.
In the sunlight, she was wearing a beige pullover sweater, with sleeves slightly rolled up. Simple jeans highlighted her straight and slender legs, and her soft hair was casually tied at the back. She was half-squatting and carefully testing the water temperature with her hand.
She suddenly turned her head and saw him standing frozen not far away.
"Why are you standing so far away? Come here." She gave a sweet smile, thinking he must have been intimidated by the dog.
He "obediently" walked over to her.
She poured some bath gel into the basin, stirred it with her hand, and created a lot of foam.
"Help me bring it over, will you?" She pointed at the little creature rolling on the grass not far away.
Asher Land rolled his eyes at her but still obliged; he brought it over and directly dropped it into the basin.
"Asher Land, could you be less violent?"
If he were violent, would he only toss it into the basin? He should have thrown it into the pot instead.
The little thing seemed frightened, paddling around in the water and splashing Asher Land all over.
"You! ..." He was just about to lash out when he heard Sophie’s melodious laughter.
"Asher Land, don’t be so petty, why stoop to the level of a dog?"
He was speechless, and she laughed even more happily.
Sophie bathed the little thing, and it turned out to be quite obedient, staying quietly there without making a fuss and thoroughly enjoying the treatment.
Asher Land glared at it, huh, this dog sure had some nerve, having his woman personally bathe it?
He couldn’t deny it; Asher Land was actually jealous of a dog.
Sophie carefully trimmed the puppy’s long fur, and upon closer inspection afterward, it turned out to be quite adorable.
