Easton Holmes continued to play dumb, and Lily Turner looked at him who had been ignoring her all the way, and grabbed his hand pulling hers, opening her mouth and biting.
Because of her resentment towards him, she didn’t hold back when she bit him.
When Lily Turner just said she wouldn’t be polite to him, Easton Holmes thought she would punch and kick him like before and never expected her to bite him.
Even though he didn’t expect it, he didn’t make a sound to stop her, nor did he push her away.
He stopped in his tracks and stood there motionless, letting her bite him, still maintaining his silent, unresponsive state.
The footsteps behind suddenly stopped, and Sophia Wood, who was walking in front, was puzzled and subconsciously wanted to look back. But thinking of the young couple being affectionate just now, she immediately dismissed the idea of looking back.
She didn’t care what was happening behind her and walked briskly to the door, got her keys, opened the door, and went inside.
When she entered the house, she tried not to look back, not wanting to see anything she shouldn’t.
Sophia left the door open for Easton Holmes and Lily Turner.
"Why didn’t you dodge?"
Seeing several teeth marks on Easton Holmes’s hand from her bites, Lily Turner’s heart was pierced by something sharp, and regret silently climbed onto her cheeks.
"Mom’s already inside, let’s hurry in too." At this point, Easton Holmes stopped playing deaf, but he directly bypassed Lily Turner’s question, answered irrelevantly, and after speaking, pulled her towards the door.
Although the man didn’t directly answer her question, he finally stopped ignoring her. Lily Turner looked down at the hand pulling her, the sleeve hiding the teeth marks on the back of the hand, and she saw nothing.
She followed that hand up to see the man whose eyes were fixed straight ahead. She sighed softly without saying anything further and walked towards the door in step with him.
Beep beep beep!
Hearing the car horn, Lily Turner instinctively looked back, and Alice Turner’s car suddenly came into view.
"My sister’s here."
There was no surprise for Lily Turner that Alice Turner would come, only joy and excitement.
Seeing her in this state, Easton Holmes’s face suddenly turned sour. Is it really necessary to be so excited about seeing her sister?
When she saw him earlier, she wasn’t this excited. Not only not excited, but her attitude towards him was even that way.
Isn’t this way too different a treatment!
But there was nowhere to voice this complaint; he could only endure it himself in his heart.
"Sis!"
As soon as Alice Turner got out of the car, Lily Turner waved and shouted. When she was about to walk towards her sister, she realized her other hand was still being held by Easton Holmes. She even felt that the grip had tightened a bit.
Was this man really afraid she’d run away?
From the beginning to the end, he’d been holding her hand, refusing to let go. She had gotten angry, bitten him, but none of it had any effect; he just wouldn’t release her hand.
"Lily!"
Alice Turner waved back to Lily Turner and locked the car door, walking toward them.
Seeing her sister getting closer, Lily Turner became a bit anxious, turning to look at the man who wouldn’t let go of her hand, "Easton Holmes! I’m begging you, can you let me go?"
Pulling and tugging at home when no one was around was one thing, but doing it outside like this was really embarrassing.
