Easton Holmes didn’t respond, and just when Lily Turner thought he was still the same, he suddenly let go of her hand.
She was a bit surprised, but she didn’t dwell on it for too long. She went forward to greet her approaching sister.
"Sister!"
At this moment, Lily wore a bright smile and reached out to link arms with Alice Turner, who had just come to her side.
"Did you two just get back?"
After a call from Sophia Wood, Alice immediately took a leave from work, and after lunch, she drove over here.

"Have you all eaten?"
After the three sat down, Sophia turned her attention to whether they had eaten. She knew Lily had lunch, but she wasn’t clear about Easton and Alice.

But Easton was a son-in-law, and although he had been with her daughter for several months, he had only visited a few times.
"I’ve eaten," Alice replied, understanding whom her mother really wanted to inquire about but she answered formally anyway.
"We’ve both eaten too," Lily immediately answered for both herself and Easton. After saying this, she instinctively tilted her head to glance at him, only to meet his gaze.
She was startled for a moment, then turned her attention back to Alice. "Sister! Did you take the day off?"
Usually, her sister would be at work at this time, but today she was here, sitting leisurely.
"Tomorrow is your wedding day, how could I not take a day off to attend?" Alice had only found out two days ago about Lily and Easton’s wedding and internally was genuinely happy for her sister. Soon her sister could openly admit she was Mrs. Holmes.

While the young couple continued their silent little duel, Sophia’s voice rang out again: "Alice! Have you informed Benjamin about Lily and Easton’s wedding? Will he be coming tomorrow?"
