Walking into the restaurant, Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher didn’t notice Alexander Shaw and Isla Lane at all. The two of them walked shoulder to shoulder into the restaurant.
"If my parents ask you anything, just say you’re Easton’s friend. You didn’t have dinner, and I dragged you here to have a bite." As they walked up to the private room, Alice Turner instructed Thomas Fisher. In case Sophia Wood and Christopher Turner asked later, she wanted him to stick to her story.
After giving these instructions, she still felt uneasy and pointed at him beside her, "You better not say anything, let me do the talking later."
This man sometimes speaks without restraint, and she worried he might revert to his old ways.
"Why are you so worried? It’s like I’m someone who can’t be seen in public." Thomas Fisher grinned cheekily, completely unfazed by Alice Turner’s seriousness. He leaned in closer, "Don’t keep a straight face, smile! Relax a bit, or your parents might think I’m bullying you."
After speaking, he made a funny face at her.
Seeing Thomas Fisher suddenly making a funny face, Alice Turner couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing, "Heh!"
"Stop joking around, will you? We both know who’s bullying whom." She shoved him away from her face, making funny faces at her. She wasn’t someone to mess with, being a black belt in Taekwondo wasn’t for nothing, you know?
"You’re bullying me!"
Thomas Fisher didn’t argue with Alice Turner about who could bully whom, he willingly surrendered, it’s not his style to argue with women, especially not with her.
"Stop kidding with me, we..."
"Alice!"
Hearing someone call her from behind, Alice Turner instinctively turned her head to look back, instantly seeing Isla Lane and Alexander Shaw.
Why are the two of them here?
Alice Turner didn’t expect to see Alexander Shaw and Isla Lane here, but soon she realized, her in-laws must have received the invitation her parents sent.
The in-laws came, but that man refused to come.

He thought Thomas Fisher should be with that good brother of his, yet he saw Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner here chatting and laughing. He was full of doubts about this matter.
Thomas Fisher shook his head, "I’ve been with my big brother all day, didn’t see the third brother at all, isn’t he home?"
He’d been at the compound all afternoon and hadn’t gone anywhere, he really hadn’t seen his third brother.
Initially, he thought his third brother was busy at the Turners, but when he arrived at the Turners, he didn’t see his third brother’s shadow.
"Isn’t your third brother with your big brother? How come you didn’t see him?" Isla Lane spoke up before Alexander Shaw, in her heart, she trusted her son Benjamin Shaw.
She didn’t fully trust her son’s good brother because seeing her son’s good brother with her daughter-in-law made her more worried than curious.
Earlier, she saw the two of them chatting and laughing, those unaware might even mistake them for a couple.
