"Master, this plan of yours is not feasible," Javier told the truth. He wanted to say more, but he stopped. He thought that Master Rick knew the risks as well.
Rick was not stopping his grinning at all. He didn't know why he felt thrilled. If his plan succeeded, then he would be on cloud nine.
"I'm going to do it. My plan is to disrupt the event. It can be done either by simple means or a direct attack. I'm planning on using the indirect method," Rick said.
"Indirect method?" Javier uttered.
"Yes, the indirect method. When the competition happens, we will do nothing but wait for the final duel announcement.Before the final duel, we would kill the finalist."
"In this way, the final duel won't happen. The result of the Best Beast Tamer competition would end in failure as well," Rick said in a cold tone.
Hearing that, Oldman Javier sucked in a cold breath of air. He had thought the Master would disrupt the whole event or stop it from taking place.
But he didn't expect him to target the finalist. However, this plan of Master Rick was not that difficult.
As long as they executed it properly, leaving behind no evidence, Master Rick's plan would succeed without any problems.
Rick saw Javier considering the possibility. He was not stupid; he knew it was impossible to stop the competition from happening.
But he could target the finalists. If the City Governors failed to rescue them, then the Human Alliance and the Beast Taming Association would take their anger out on them.
"Master Rick, this plan of yours is good. We can do it," Javier agreed with the plan. He knew if he didn't agree, then his Master might come up with another plan.
"Good, then start searching for assassins. We can't get involved in the killings. We need outside help. There are many shadow organizations working behind the scenes."
"The Human Alliance has been trying to eliminate the root, but they have never succeeded. Maybe we can get help from them," Rick said with a smile.
"Okay, Master. I'll start working on the plan right away," Oldman Javier said.
"Ha... Ha... Ha... I can't wait for the competition to happen," Rick said with a joyful laugh.

Then he learned that the previous team was swallowed by the worm beast. After knowing that, he gave up his anger towards them.
On the other hand, May Lindsey and Victor Scott were working tirelessly. May Lindsey had been learning new fighting techniques to utilize her elemental talent well.
Whereas Victor Scott was becoming proficient in using poison. However, he had yet to challenge Jeremy Night. Considering his daily progress, the control department students had started nagging him again.
Even second-year control department students urged him to challenge Jeremy Night. But Victor Scott ignored them. Coming from a well-established family, he was not afraid of the senior students.
He didn't even listen to them. Rather, he was focusing on improving himself first. The senior students had no choice but to leave him alone.

Their last mission had led to the exposure of the underground rat beast passage, and now they were considering doing a mission in the outer part of the wilderness.
Jeremy felt that it had been several days since he had gone to the wilderness. To be honest, he was missing the days of practice in the Forbidden Area.
He was still at Tier-1, 7th Rank - Early stage. He hadn't seen any improvement after coming from the Forbidden Area. Jeremy thought he needed to visit the dangerous area again to increase his rank.
But then the problem was that Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone had asked him to do a team mission with them. He knew they had been waiting for him ever since the underground passage collapse.
So he had decided to do a few missions with them before going to the Forbidden Area. He then walked out of the dormitory and started striding toward the Department Building.
Soon, he reached the department building. He entered the elevator to reach the top floor quickly.
He stepped inside the class and saw his two department members.
Looking at the anticipation in their eyes, he sighed inwardly.
"Let's do the mission. But before that, we should inform our instructor," Jeremy said with a smile.
"Great, we will do a good mission this time," Daniel replied.
"I have been waiting for you to say this," Betsy uttered with a smile.
