Jeremy made a call to Instructor Jacob. When he told him about the mission, Instructor Jacob immediately agreed. Jeremy knew the instructor wanted to witness their progress as well.
After ending the call, his gaze fell on Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe. He saw through their current strength, which was Tier-1, 4th Rank-Early. This was not bad.
He thought they could fight against Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts, but when it came to Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts, he was not sure.
"I have informed him. Let's go to the mission building," Jeremy said to them.
Hearing this, Betsy and Daniel were ready to leave.
About 10 minutes later, the three of them arrived at the mission building. It immediately attracted the eyes of everyone. For some time, the STRIKER Department had been staying low key.
So everyone had stopped discussing them. Now, looking at them entering the mission hall, they thought the upcoming days would be interesting.
The senior students were clear about their intentions. They were targeting the STRIKER Department. Now that the STRIKER Department members were going to accept the mission, the senior students would act soon.
"I'm getting hostile gazes," Daniel Stone uttered.
"Ignore them; we don't have time to waste," Jeremy said without turning back.
Betsy also found a couple of unkind gazes, but the trio didn't react and walked up to the desk. Then Jeremy started to browse the missions on the screen.
He had an idea of taking them to the inner part of the wilderness if they didn't come across any corrupted beasts in the outer part.

Meanwhile, some of the students had already started to speak to their seniors. After learning that the STRIKER Department's Beast Tamers were going for a mission, they got excited.
Most importantly, the 2nd Attack Department student, Billy, was the most serious. His previous plan had failed because the last mercenary team had been unlucky; they were eaten by the Tier-5 Worm Beast.
This time, Billy arranged for a powerful mercenary team. They were all Tier-4 Beast Tamers. Initially, they had declined his job offer, but Billy had offered a large amount, which made them agree immediately.
The Tier-4 Beast Tamers were basically powerful figures in City A. They held various positions in many different organizations.
The senior city guards were all Tier-4 Beast Tamers, next only to the City Guard Captain.
Billy called them to inform them about the current situation. He provided them with pictures of the targets. If they entered the wilderness early, they would soon find Jeremy Night and his two department members.
Meanwhile, inside the mission hall, Jeremy Night found a suitable mission for them.
[Mission: Need corpses of Tier-2 or Tier-3 Corrupted Hounds. Time Limit: 7 days.]
[Rewards: 100 points for each Tier-2 corpse; 200 points for each Tier-3 corpse.]
"This mission is good. The rewards are better as well," Jeremy commented.
Hearing this, Daniel and Betsy looked at the mission description.
"Okay, it's doable," Daniel Stone said after seeing the mention of Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts.
"I'm okay with the mission as well," Betsy said.
"Good," Jeremy said before registering for the mission.
The STRIKER Department officially took up the mission. After receiving the notification, the trio decided to leave.
They smoothly exited the mission hall building. No one stopped or bothered them. A few of the Beast Tamers went to the staff to inquire.
But the staff knew about the seriousness of the matter. He refused to disclose anything. The students knew they were breaking the rules, so they didn't press further.
But it didn't stop the senior students from making plans. Already, the 2nd Year Billy had acted. There was also 3rd Year Timothy, who had been silent so far. He knew Billy was acting.
So he had been watching from the sidelines. If Billy needed any help, he would help him for sure.
Meanwhile, Jeremy, Daniel, and Betsy entered the flying taxi after exiting the university. It didn't take long for them to arrive at the City Gate.
The trio then stepped out of the vehicle. Jeremy paid the fare. Then he turned around and started walking toward the City Gate with his members.
Last time he was here, he had to flee from the Tier-5 Worm Beast. He couldn't figure out what made the beast chase him so far. He hoped he wouldn't be unlucky this time.
A few minutes later, the trio entered the wilderness after completing their check.
"Brother Jeremy, why don't we spend some time in the outer part of the wilderness? I want to kill a few low-tier beasts," Daniel said.
"Okay," Jeremy agreed.
Then the trio started their journey. But not long after, Jeremy began to feel a bad premonition. He had come across a few Mercenary Teams.
They seemed to be from the Beast Taming Association. They were minding their own business, but among them, one Mercenary Team clearly had their eyes on him.
At first, he was not sure, but their gazes lingered until he left their sight. Jeremy smelled trouble. He didn't know who was targeting him.
But he had a few suspicions in mind. For example, the group might work for the Goldcorp organization. Not long ago, someone from that organization had targeted him.
Jeremy thought the same people had arranged a new Mercenary Team to target him. But then the problem was he was not alone here.
He was here with Daniel and Betsy Lowe. He didn't want to involve them in his troubles.
"What to do?" Jeremy muttered.
He then pushed down these thoughts. If he was forced to make a choice, then he would have to kill those who were after him.
He then started looking for the Tier-2 Hounds to hunt, while Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe were looking for lower-tier beasts for practice.
Meanwhile, the new mercenary team who took the task from Billy had already left their place. They had marked the direction where Jeremy and his team members had left.
They were going to act after making full preparations.
