Wilderness (Outer part):
Jeremy and his two companions came across low-tier beasts. They were Tier-2 wild boars. Apart from the dangerous tusks, there was nothing to be afraid of with these beasts.
So he allowed the two of them to wait. After doing that, he started to keep an eye on the surroundings. He had a feeling that someone would appear.
At the same time, Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe started attacking the beasts.
Jeremy took the black katana out and held it in his hand. He then started to pay attention. His sword skills were better than before.
From now on, he wouldn't waste unnecessary time on stances to kill the beasts. He had been trying to find an efficient way to kill the beasts with his katana.
But then everything would be possible if he became a Tier-2 Beast Tamer. Even if he wanted to try something, his strength didn't add up.

While Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe were successfully hunting, Jeremy Night noticed the movement of unknown individuals on the other hand.

But then his expression changed drastically after discovering their strength. Jeremy felt the aura of Tier-4 Beasts coming from them.
If his assumption was correct, then this group of people were Tier-4 Beast Tamers. If they had come with ill intentions, they would have no chance to escape.
He could see that the group was still watching over them. Jeremy thought that they were not going to take action right away. He believed it was the right opportunity to escape.
He immediately went over to the side of Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe.
He said, "We have wasted enough time here. Let's go to the inner part of the wilderness."
Hearing that, Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe were stunned. They didn't expect Jeremy to say this. But looking at his serious face, they agreed.
Not long after they left, the new Mercenary Team found something wrong. When they arrived at the spot, they saw the trio fleeing toward the inner part of the wilderness.
The group of Tier-4 Beast Tamers didn't speak much. They were all wearing hoodies. They were clearly trying to conceal their identities. Even their faces were covered with clothing.
Undoubtedly, these people were veterans. The next second, they started chasing the group.
On the other hand, Jeremy held his katana tightly. He had been traveling to the inner part of the wilderness for quite some time, so he knew about some of the safe spots.
After passing through uneven terrain, he led them toward a cave-like structure.
"Brother Jeremy, what's with this place?"
"I don't think hounds are living here," Daniel Stone asked.
Betsy Lowe showed a suspicious look. She could tell that something was bothering Jeremy Night, but he wasn't saying anything.
"I don't have time to explain. Just get inside the cave. If I don't come back soon, then find a way to return to the city gate," Jeremy told them.
Daniel Stone and Betsy Lowe petrified on the spot. They felt like a thunderclap had struck their heads.
"What's going on?" Betsy Lowe asked.
She quickly realized that something was wrong. Daniel Stone remained silent.
"Some people are following me. They don't have good intentions, so I'm going to lead them somewhere." After saying that, Jeremy left.
Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone were left speechless. But they understood that Jeremy Night was not joking at all. His expression showed seriousness.
"Let's wait for him inside," Betsy Lowe suggested.
Hearing that, Daniel Stone came back to his senses. He broke out into a cold sweat. If people were following Jeremy Night, that meant they were strong Beast Tamers.
Whereas they were just Tier-1 Beast Tamers. He then went inside.
Jeremy Night had changed his direction. He waited for the pursuers to see him. Not long after, he saw the group coming in his direction.
There were five Beast Tamers dressed in hoodies. All of them were middle-aged men. They were likely veterans. Jeremy's eyes narrowed.
He really wanted to confirm who was targeting him. If they had been sent by someone from Goldcorp, then he wanted to know about that person.
The black-hooded Beast Tamers spotted Jeremy Night alone. Seeing that he was looking at them, they realized they had been exposed.
And the target must have hidden his team members.
"Kill him," one of the hooded figures uttered.
A bird-type lifeline beast flashed in front of everyone's eyes before it bolted toward the target. At the same time, one of them rushed out to attack after bringing out his lifeline beast.
On the other hand, Jeremy's eyes flickered. He quickly circulated his starlight energy. In the blink of an eye, he covered the blade with starlight energy.
He could see a bird-like figure coming toward him. His senses heightened. As his heart calmed down, the outside noise was canceled. He became extremely focused.
Then he saw a small bird-like lifeline beast, which was less than 4 feet long. But its speed was extremely fast. Before Jeremy could make a plan, the beast reached him.
Not knowing why, Jeremy brought his katana forward. The next second, the blade came into contact with the bird's beak.
A metallic noise sounded.
Jeremy felt the recoil force, which made him retreat a few steps backward. At that moment, he understood that this small bird lifeline beast was actually a Tier-4 Beast.
Now that he had confirmed their strength, he decided to be careful.

The bird beast tried to poke a hole in his chest. He blocked the beast again.
He retreated backward because of the impact. The small bird moved backward a little before stabilizing itself in the air.
