Tucker Tyler got out of the car, ran up to Carson Flores with reverence, bowed humbly, and displayed a submissive attitude.
Carson Flores pointed behind the black business car, "Behind the car."
Tucker Tyler gestured to his trusted subordinates, who swiftly brought out body bags and sprang into action. Soon, the bodies of Ah Long and three others were zipped up in the bags and placed into the arriving vehicle. The bloodstains on the ground were also washed away with large buckets of water, leaving no trace.
"Mr. Flores, do you need the car taken away?"
Carson Flores waved his hand, "No need, I have some errands to run and will take it."
Tucker Tyler respectfully inquired, "Any other orders, sir?"
Carson Flores smiled and tossed a cigarette to Tucker Tyler, "That’s all, you can go back. Thanks for the hard work."
Tucker Tyler caught the cigarette, flattered, "It’s not hard work. Serving Mr. Flores is my honor. I’ll be going now, Mr. Flores. If you need anything, please call me, my phone is on 24 hours a day."
After Tucker Tyler left, Samantha Tate grabbed Carson Flores’s hand, "Brother, where are you going now?"
Carson Flores smiled, "I’m going to return a favor."
Samantha Tate was quick-witted and immediately understood, "Are you going to find Brian James?"
Carson Flores nodded, "Yes. Since he’s sent people to kill me, him being alive is a big problem. I don’t like the feeling of being watched ."
Samantha Tate blinked, pleading, "Let me go with you. I can drive for you, and cover for you."
Carson Flores laughed and softly ruffled Samantha Tate’s hair, "This has nothing to do with you. Don’t get involved. If someone seeks revenge afterward, coming at me is one thing, but if they come for you, you’re defenseless, and that would be dangerous."
Samantha Tate smiled sweetly, "If I’m with you every day, that would be good, right?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? We’re not conjoined twins."
Carson Flores checked his watch, "All right, hurry back home and stop goofing around."
Knowing that Carson Flores ultimately didn’t agree to take her, Samantha Tate obediently said, "Okay, then I’ll go home. But can you send me a message when you’re done and on your way back?"
Carson Flores nodded, "Sure."
Samantha Tate made a reluctant face as the car started, yet she poked her head out again and pouted.
Carson Flores, with no other choice, leaned forward to give her a peck.
Only then did Samantha Tate drive away with a happy smile. Carson Flores watched the retreating car, feeling ambiguous.
This woman is not like others.
She wasn’t scared at all when I killed four people right in front of her, and she even wanted to help me find Brian James and cover for me with the car?
And she still looked happy asking for a kiss before leaving?
After driving away, Carson Flores got into the black business vehicle, set the navigation, and started the car.
Half an hour later, Carson Flores arrived at Brian James’s residence.
Two bodyguards were at the entrance of the villa. Seeing the familiar black business sedan, they assumed it was Ah Long and his companions returning and opened the gate directly.
Carson Flores drove straight in and parked in front of the villa.
He lit a cigarette before leisurely exiting the vehicle, leaving the two guards at the entrance dumbfounded.
Why is he driving Ah Long’s car?
And where are Ah Long and the others?
As Carson Flores walked towards the villa, the two guards hastily followed.
One guard reached out to grab Carson Flores but was swiftly knocked out with a chop of Carson’s hand. The other guard pulled out a baton and swung it at him, but Carson stepped aside, grabbed the guard by the head, and slammed him against a nearby pillar, knocking him out as well.
Carson Flores pushed the door open and entered the house. The spacious living room was luxuriously decorated yet vacant.
He went upstairs to find the bedroom, which was locked from the inside. He kicked the door down.
Brian James, standing on the balcony in terror, was looking down as if contemplating jumping off.
Carson Flores stood at the doorway and chuckled, "Thinking of jumping? Need a hand?"
Upon seeing Carson, Brian James realized he couldn’t escape and resignedly walked back, cleanly opening a safe in the bedroom.
The safe was filled with money and gold bars, gleaming enticingly.
"Let’s talk. All this can be yours."
Carson Flores walked over to Brian James, casually found a chair, and sat down, "Alright, let’s talk. I also have some questions that I’d like you to answer."
Brian James sat down opposite Carson and asked gravely, "Where are Ah Long and the others?"
Carson Flores smiled, "They wanted to send me down, so I sent them down first to wait for me."
Brian James felt a sinking feeling, panic welling up inside.
He had always been strategic and in control, but now he realized everything was out of his control, and even his own life was no longer his to command.
Brian James gravely said, "I admit defeat. Name your price, Mr. Flores. I’m willing to compensate, and I promise, I’ll never trouble you again."
Carson Flores didn’t answer but instead asked an apparently unrelated question, "Why are you targeting Shirley Miller, the president of the Miller Group? Do you have a grudge against her, or the Miller Family?"
