Isabel Reid wore a face full of disappointment as she spoke with heartfelt anguish.

Isabel Reid gave a deferential bow toward Carson Flores, her tone apologetic, "Carson, this matter is my daughter’s fault. I will have her apologize to you. Moreover, I will take her back to the Heavenly Constellation Sect for a ten-year contemplative seclusion to thoroughly reflect on her sins. Please grant her a chance to make amends."
Katherine Reid was bewildered by her father’s slap, but after hearing his words, she quickly came to her senses and bowed to Carson to apologize.
"I’m sorry, Carson. I was wrong before, and I will reflect on it. Please forgive me!"
Carson scoffed, putting on an act now?
A self-harming scheme?
Even though he was aware the two were putting on an act, Carson knew that at the moment, he was only using tough words as a bluff. Bringing down Isabel Reid with his own strength still seemed unlikely.
Carson was about to mock Isabel Reid when suddenly Delaney Hunter’s cold voice came from the sky.
"Isabel Reid, you’ve come up with a self-harming scheme, and at your age, don’t you have any shame? Bullying my junior brother and thinking you can just walk away from it—are you dreaming?"
Carson abruptly looked up and saw Delaney Hunter diving from the sky at incredible speed, like a meteor. Her voice still echoed in the air as she appeared before everyone, landing with a thunderous crash, her hair flying, her clothes fluttering, emanating a formidable presence.
Carson was overjoyed.
Delaney turned her head with a smile, "Not bad, junior brother. Your senior sister hasn’t misjudged you!"
Their simple exchange had already confirmed everything Carson had previously said to be true, and everyone’s gaze instantly turned to Isabel Reid and her daughter, their eyes revealing overt anticipation.
A good show was about to begin!

With just the word ’misunderstanding,’ do you think you can muddle through this entire matter?"
Isabel Reid naturally knew how difficult and terrifying Delaney was to deal with. At this point, he began to regret why he hadn’t just walked away earlier, which would have spared him this humiliating confrontation with Delaney.
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, being called out by Delaney , his face was probably going to be utterly lost.
"Peak Master Hunter, you name it. What does it take for this matter to be let bygones be bygones?"
Delaney sneered, "Didn’t you just strike a move against my junior brother? You have two options. First, take a blow from me, your life and death are your own responsibility. If you survive the blow, we let this matter go. Second, you gave my junior brother quite a scare, so compensate him for his emotional distress. It’s your choice."
The bystanders’ eyes lit up, here it comes, here it comes!
