Jiaojiao obediently opened her mouth. Ruanlin checked her throat and didn’t see the pit anymore, which put her at ease. She then took away the remaining plums in Jiaojiao’s hand and those of the little villain too, saying, “I’ll cut them open for you, and remove the pits.”
