Lu Beichen’s eyebrows furrowed suddenly, and he turned his head to shout into the room, "Lu Sinian, come out and explain what exactly happened?!"
No one inside responded, Lu Beichen held Ji Niandong with one hand and pressed his forehead with the other, saying, "I’ll count to three. If you don’t come out by then, you’ll know the consequences!"
Lu Sinian finally walked out slowly, tears streaming down his face. Ji Niandong felt distressed seeing this and turned her face away.
"Speak, what’s going on?" Lu Beichen’s voice grew a bit harsher.

Lu Beichen couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh, "Your mom’s photo? Who is your mom?" He extended his hand in front of Little Bun, "Let me see it!"
Lu Sinian bent both hands behind his back and looked up at him, saying, "Promise not to take it away from me!"
"Hurry up!" Lu Beichen also seemed a bit impatient.
Little Bun then reluctantly handed over the photo. Lu Beichen glanced at it, and his already tightly furrowed brows furrowed even more, "Who’s this?"
"My mom!" Little Bun wiped his eyes, a bit embarrassed to reply.

"You won’t take me to see my mom, so I had to photoshop it myself! I didn’t do it according to Sister Tongtong; I just made my own eyes bigger and longer. Ji Niandong finally took the photo and glanced at it. Except for the pair of eyes looking like hers, the rest of the features... combined with a heavy straight bang, indeed looked a bit odd!
"Did Nian Nian really photoshop this himself?" Ji Niandong now felt uncertain.
Lu Sinian snatched the photo from her hand and said, "Are you satisfied now!"

Lu Beichen then silently walked over and took his hand to lead him inside.
"Little Uncle, I’m sorry!" Ji Niandong called out.
Lu Beichen paused for a moment but said nothing and didn’t turn around, directly taking Little Bun to bathe.
Lu Sinian’s face was still streaked with tears, his nose blocked so badly he could barely breathe. He sniffled and stretched out his tongue for a lick, to which Lu Beichen reacted with disdain, "You’re so dirty, aren’t you?"
"I didn’t lick my snot!" Lu Sinian retorted, then whispered, "Sorry, Mr. Lu, it was my fault Sister Tongtong misunderstood you!"
