Lu Beichen was in great spirits today, couldn’t resist having a couple more drinks, and Ji Niandong drove him home.
He lives in the New City Villa, a high-end villa area where wealthy people reside, and Ji Niandong has visited once before with him, so she’s quite familiar.
She carefully drove the car, occasionally glancing at the man in the passenger seat out of the corner of her eye.
He leaned back in the seat after drinking, his gaze a bit dreamy, yet he kept looking at her.
Ji Niandong pretended not to notice, calmly driving, though her heart was all aflutter.
The car soon reached the underground parking lot of the New City Villa, and Ji Niandong got out and opened the door on the other side. The man in the passenger seat quietly leaned against it, only curling his lips into a pure smile while looking at her.

Ji Niandong directly unbuckled his seatbelt, helping him out of the car. As soon as the car door closed, the man seemed to turn boneless, leaning his head against her neck, his hand steadily holding her waist.
Ji Niandong’s whole body stiffened, wanting to push him away, but the faint smell of alcohol reminded her that he was indeed drunk!
She let out a breath, forcing herself to move his hand from her waist to her shoulder, guiding him step by step. Once in the elevator, he simply lifted his other hand, wrapping it around her, pressing her against the door.
The strong scent of alcohol spread at her nose, his head buried in her neck, his breaths landing on the back of her ear, tingling.
"Little Uncle?" Ji Niandong nudged him, but felt powerless, "So heavy!"
Ji Niandong closed her eyes briefly, helplessly leaning against the smooth wall, reaching out to press the direct elevator button, but couldn’t touch it.
His large hand suddenly bypassed hers and directly pressed it, and the elevator started going up immediately.
"Little Uncle?" Truly drunk, or pretending?
Until the elevator doors opened, she had no choice but to wrap her arms around his waist, leading him out. Thankfully, he cooperated by walking, yet clung to her without letting go.
Bow her head under his weight, Ji Niandong reached the door, pushed up the cover of the password lock, and asked, "What’s the password?"
"1104, Nian Nian’s birthday!" His deep voice sounded in her ear.
Seems like a good dad, using his child’s birthday for the password!
The entrance light turned on, the dim yellow light casting over them, mixed with the man’s alcohol scent, a vague hint of intimacy in the air.
Ji Niandong glanced around the room, aside from the warmth of the lighting, everything was in cold tones of black, white, and gray.
She opened the shoe cabinet, finding the shoes neatly arranged by type inside, including her own pair placed properly.
The slippers were on the first layer, three pairs of large, medium, and small sizes together, truly looking like a harmonious family.
Ji Niandong paused for a moment, turned and placed the man on a nearby seat, soothingly said, "Sit here first, I’ll change my shoes!"
He cooperatively sat down this time, slightly squinting his eyes.
Ji Niandong changed her shoes first, seeing him still seated without moving, she fetched the slippers for him, squatting down to remove his leather shoes.
The exquisite Italy handmade custom-made leather shoes almost spotless, she placed them neatly in the shoe cabinet, then put the slippers on him.
Her face showed not a hint of impatience, genuinely taking care of him.
