The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory Chapter 160

Koa Jackson really didn’t think much about it.

He’s a doctor, although he’s a bit more attentive than the average man, how could he understand the roundabout ways of a young girl?

Mia Ginger, not having the habit of wasting food, diligently finished a whole bowl and drank the porridge before stopping.

"Hmm." Koa Jackson looked at the empty bowl in front of her and responded.

He paid the bill and took her back to school.

It was only a few minutes’ journey, and Mia remained quite silent.

Seeing her not speaking, Koa Jackson just assumed she’d been running around all day and was feeling sleepy, so he didn’t disturb her.

Soon they arrived at the school gate.

Koa Jackson drove right through the gate, took a loop around the campus, and dropped her off on a tree-lined path not far from the dormitory building.

Mia got out of the car with a listless look.

Koa Jackson also got out of the car and handed her a small paper bag from the back seat.

"Eh?" Mia was taken aback.

"I came specifically to give this to you," Koa Jackson smiled faintly, "It’s a skincare product independently developed by the hospital’s dermatology department, it has great sun protection effects. Your skin is sensitive, so don’t use just any cosmetics."

"This... thank you, Brother Jackson." Mia suddenly felt delighted.

"Hmm, go back now, and rest early."

Koa Jackson nodded, reached out to ruffle her hair, and the orange streetlights filtered through the leaves, casting gentle light on his eyes and eyebrows, making him appear warm.

Mia felt moved, closed her eyes slightly, and turned to leave.

Seeing her walk away, Koa Jackson turned around as well.

Before he reached the car door, he suddenly felt a tightness around his waist, embraced by two hands.

He looked down in surprise.

Mia’s warm cheek was pressed against his lean back, her eyes closed, silent for a long time.

Koa Jackson covered her hand with one of his.

"Brother Jackson," Mia tightened her arms even more and said softly, "Thank you for being so good to me."

Koa Jackson’s lips curved slightly, turning around while holding her hand, and with his other hand, he gently stroked her face, saying softly, "Why so formal, it’s the least I can do."

Mia’s face turned red-hot, and she nodded randomly.

"Go up and rest; you have military training tomorrow, right?"

"Hmm." Mia nodded, pulled out one of her hands, "Goodnight. Be careful on your way."

"Okay." Koa Jackson watched her leave.

Mia turned around, took a deep breath, feeling a bit melancholic and sweet, she didn’t look back, pursing her lips and heading in the direction of the dormitory.

She was the one who took the initiative to cancel the engagement.

Even though it was under those circumstances, it was still canceled after all.

How long has it been?

Even though she yearned for it, she found it hard to say, "I like you, can we be together again?"

Even if she said it, she would need to be very sure.

If it didn’t work out, she wouldn’t have the courage for another try.

She needed to be sure.

She tightly clenched her fists, faintly hearing the sound of the car leaving, instinctively turning her head to look.

The car soon disappeared from her sight.

All that was left was a long row of green sycamores and some scattered students in the distance.

Mia took a deep breath, turned around, shook her head to banish the distracting thoughts, and quickly walked in the direction of the dormitory.

She didn’t look up much and suddenly bumped into a solid embrace.
